Objetiva-se também problematizar a presença das sublegendas, consideradas importantes para a compreensão da política de localidades como Alegrete. Presents part of the research related to political-party relations in Alegrete (RS) during the time of bipartisan system (1966-1979), introduced by brazilian civil-military regime. For that purpose, we seek within this paper to analyze city hall s contest of that municipality during 1976 s election, gathering one discussion with specialized historiography of the period and sources taken from the Tribunal Regional Eleitoral (TRE/RS), as well with interviews with some political actors of that period, which still alive.
