The internet made it possible to disseminate false or inaccurate information with great potential to threaten democratic practices. There is a multidisciplinary effort underway to combat misinformation, which includes training people to evaluate the news they recieve, as well as actions targetted at avoiding individuals are exposed to them. In such context, the challenge is fighting desinformation without imposing fight against disinformation, which includes training people to evaluate the fake news they receive, as well as actions targeted at preventing individuals from being exposed to them.
